A historic marker stands in front of the Lyceum on the University of Mississippi campus, July 30, 2013, in Oxford, Miss. The building was the site of riots in 1962 following the enrollment of James Meredith, the first black student on campus. Last fall, around 40 students created a disturbance when they gathered in front of the building to protest the re-election of President Barack Obama. After the incident, university officials formed an ad hoc committee to re-examine race relations on campus. (Photo by Carmen K. Sisson/Cloudybright)
