A cash cow stands atop The Shed Barbeque and Blues Joint, July 4, 2021, in Ocean Springs, Mississippi. Owners Brad Orrison and his sister, Brooke Orrison Lewis, opened the restaurant in August 2001 as a tiny, 300-square-foot, take-out shed. Within five years, it had turned into a sprawling, 10,000-square-foot food experience, smoking more than a ton and a half of meat per day on a property packed with a wide assortment of old signs, vintage cars, and collected junk. The restaurant has been featured on a number of television channels including The Food Network, The Travel Channel, The History Channel, Spike TV, and The Discovery Channel. (Photo by Carmen K.
