The two pandas at the zoo, Le Le and Ya Ya, have been leased from China since 2003, and their lease has been renewed through 2023. Panda bears can eat up to 80 pounds of bamboo a day. Pandas are an endangered species, with approximately 2,000 remaining in the wild and 375 living in captivity, as of 2013. (Photo by Carmen K. Sisson/Cloudybright)
