The Angel Tree sculpture is pictured, Aug. 13, 2022, in Bay Saint Louis, Mississippi. The sculpture was created from the remains of a live oak tree where three people and a dog rode out Hurricane Katrina after their home washed away. The tree is one of several live oaks destroyed in the storm and repurposed by chainsaw artist Dayle K. Lewis. Bay Saint Louis was heavily impacted by Hurricane Katrina in 2005 but has rebuilt into a tourist destination, regularly topping tourism awards lists. Approximately 13,539 people live in Bay Saint Louis. Bay Saint Louis was incorporated as Shieldsborough in 1818 and as the city of Bay Saint Louis in 1882. (Photo by Carmen K. Sisson/Cloudybright)
