The old Florida State Capitol building is pictured, July 20, 2013, in Tallahassee, Florida. The Classical Revival style building was built in 1845 and is listed on the National Register of Historic Places. The new capitol was built in the 1970’s, and the old capitol was slated for demolition, but citizens rallied to have it preserved. It is one of Tallahassee’s most photographed landmarks.
