A billboard asks U.S. President Donald Trump to support the Yazoo Pumps Project, July 26, 2019, in Vicksburg, Mississippi. Many believe the pumps will alleviate backwater flooding in the Mississippi Delta. The project was conceived by the Corps of Engineers in 1941 but was scuttled by the Environmental Protection Agency in 2008 due to concerns that the project would negatively impact the Delta wetlands. So far in 2019, more than 500,000 acres of land have flooded in the Delta, displacing hundreds of residents and shuttering some businesses and farms. (Photo by Carmen K. Sisson/Cloudybright)
