The sun shines through live oak trees in the historic Oakleigh Garden District, April 24, 2020, in Mobile, Alabama. The Oakleigh Garden District, one of Mobile’s seven historic districts, was listed on the National Register of Historic Places in 1972. It contains 288 contributing buildings from the 1820s to the 1940s.
