Our Lady of Guadelupe Shrine is illuminated by the setting sun at St. Paul Catholic Church, April 3, 2021, in Pass Christian, Mississippi. The shrine honors the Virgin Mary’s appearance in 1531 to a poor Indian man, Juan Diego, on Tepeyac Hill in Mexico. The stone at the base of the monument is from Tepeyac Hill.
