The letter of civil rights leader John LeFlore are displayed at the History Museum of Mobile, Nov. 21, 2021, in Mobile, Alabama. LeFlore wrote an estimated 50,000 letters to business and government leaders in Alabama. He founded the local chapter of the NAACP and helped found the Non-Partisan Voting League.
