A sign on a Highway 43 barn asks passersby, “Got Jesus?”, Aug. 12, 2011, in Columbus, Mississippi. The sign is a variation of the “Got milk?” advertising campain developed by Goodby Silverstein & Partners for the California Milk Processor Board in 1993. The slogan became so popular that it became what is known as a snowclone — a clichéd template phrase used in popular culture with many variants. (Photo by Carmen K. Sisson/Cloudybright)
