A stained glass window depicting the nativity of Jesus is pictured at the Cathedral Basilica of the Immaculate Conception, December 18, 2017, in Mobile, Alabama. The church, founded in 1703, was designated a minor basilica in 1962. The cathedral's stained glass windows were made by Franz Mayer & Co. in Munich, Germany. Many of the windows were damaged by a fire in 1954 and had to be sent to Germany to be repaired. The church is listed in the National Register of Historic Places. (Photo by Carmen K.
