The Fish Monger statue stands in Malaga Square in front of the Mobile Civic Center, Feb. 27, 2021, in Mobile, Alabama. The statue is a replica of “El Cenachero,” a sculpture in Málaga, Spain. Translated literally as “the basket carrier,” the statue is the official symbol of the city of Malaga.
