Stewartfield, an 1849 Greek Revival cottage, is pictured on the Avenue of Oaks at Spring Hill College, March 21, 2021, in Mobile, Alabama. The Spring Hill College campus, along with the city of Mobile, is known for its charming streets lined with azaleas and Southern live oak trees. The private Jesuit college was founded in 1830 by Michael Portier, a Catholic bishop in Mobile. It is the fifth oldest Catholic college in the United States and the third oldest member of the Association of Jesuit Colleges and Universities.
