The Nydia is displayed in the Maritime and Seafood Industry Museum, May 29, 2021, in Biloxi, Mississippi. The 30-foot sailboat was built in Biloxi in the late 1800s. The Maritime and Seafood Industry Museum was established in 1986 to preserve the history and heritage of the Mississippi Gulf Coast. The museum features exhibits on shrimping, oystering, fishing, coastal habitat, shipbuilding, marine blacksmithing, and other coastal subjects.
