Selfie, a multi-part art installation by John Cerney, features people taking selfies with dinosaurs in Langan Park, July 17, 2021, in Mobile, Alabama. The art piece, part of the park’s Sculpture Trail, highlights the selfie craze in which even the most amazing sights are reduced to self-portraits to post on social media. The 720-acre park was built in 1957 and is named for Joseph N. Langan, a former Mobile mayor, state senator and city commissioner. It is also the site of the Azalea City Golf Course, the Mobile Botanical Gardens, the Mobile Museum of Art, and Playhouse in the Park. In recent years, the lake has become home to several invasive species including the channeled applesnail and tilapia. (Photo by Carmen K. Sisson/Cloudybright)
