The upscale restaurant is situated in the 1737 Greek Revival home of French colonist Louis Frasier. French Governor Jean Baptiste Le Moyne, Sieur de Bienville, used the home as his headquarters. Mary and Bob Mahoney acquired the property in 1962 and converted it into a restaurant specializing in Creole-style food. The upscale restaurant also features a New Orleans-style courtyard where patrons can dine. Mary Mahoney’s is also known as The Old French House and The Brunet-Fourchy House.
