The Dockery Service Station stands on the grounds of Dockery Farms, Aug. 12, 2016, in Cleveland, Mississippi. Dockery Farms was a 25,600-acre cotton plantation in the Mississippi Delta. It is widely regarded as the place where Delta blues music was born. The site, which is listed on the National Register of Historic Place and part of the Mississippi Blues Trail, includes the service station, cotton gin, and other buildings.
