The hospital is currently testing patients with Covid-19, an infectious coronavirus first identified in Wuhan, China in 2019. The World Health Organization declared the outbreak a public health emergency of international concern on Jan. 30, 2020, upgrading it to a pandemic on March 11, 2020.
