A 1979 Austin Mini Cooper is displayed at the 31st annual British Car Festival, Oct. 24, 2021, in Fairhope, Alabama. The Austin Mini is a two-door compact city car produced by British Motor Group and its successors, including British Leyland, from 1959-2000. In 1999, the Austin Mini was named the second most influential car of the 20th century. It was designed by Sir Alec Issigonis. The car show, held by the South Alabama British Car Club, featured dozens of vintage British vehicles on dispay, along with a British food truck, and music by British bands like The Beatles. This year’s theme was the MGA, a British sports car produced by MG from 1955-1962. (Photo by Carmen K. Sisson/Cloudybright)
