Research scientist Jerry Pratt analyzes the walking pattern of M2V2, a lifesize bipedal robot, Nov. 13, 2009 at the Institute for Human and Machine Cognition in Pensacola, Fla. The software, Simulation Construction Set, was designed by Pratt and his associates in the lab. It allows him to take data recorded on M2V2 during trials and replay it onscreen, as well as try out variables before implementing costly or time-consuming changes which may not work on the robot.
