A shrimp boat is docked in Pass Christian Harbor, Feb. 24, 2019, in Pass Christian, Mississippi. Pass Christian, also known as “The Pass,” was discovered by French-Canadian explorers in 1699 and chartered in 1848. It was heavily damaged by Hurricane Camille in 1969 and Hurricane Katrina in 2005.
