The Carousel House, home of the Dentzel Carousel, is pictured June 23, 2019, in Meridian, Mississippi. The carousel, which was built in 1896, is hand-carved and painted and is listed on the National Register of Historic Places. It is one of only 11 carousels nationwide to be named a National Landmark, and it is located in the only carousel building that remains from Dentzel's original blueprint.
