A tombstone features an image of Heaven’s gates and the insciption, “Peace Perfect Peace,” at Dauphin Island Cemtery, Feb. 9, 2022, in Dauphin Island, Alabama. “Peace PErfect Peace” was a hymn written by English Anglican minister Edward Henry Bickersteth in 1875. It was inspired by Isaiah 26:3, which states: “You will keep in perfect peace those whose minds are steadfast, because they trust in you.” The “G” symbol at the bottom of the headstone indicates the deceased was a mason or freemason. The Masonic G represents Grand Architect, Generation, and Gnosis. (Photo by Carmen K. Sisson/Cloudybright)
